Kerry Guest

Kerry Guest was a true and compassionate friend to animals. Kerry dedicated her life to making a difference for those who are too often forgotten and abandoned. She believed deeply that every animal deserved dignity, care, and a second chance, and she was especially passionate about the importance of spay and neuter programs as a path toward lasting change.

Thanks to Kerry's generous donation, directed through her friend Julie, Kerry’s life’s work and values continue to live on. Her legacy will help ensure that more animals receive the love, protection, and hope she so strongly believed in.

We are profoundly grateful for this tribute and for the lasting impact Kerry continues to have on the lives of animals in need.

Cheral Elsbury

We lovingly remember Cheral Elsbury, whose kindness and compassion extended far beyond her own life and into the lives of animals in need.

Cheral believed deeply in helping others and chose to honor that belief through generosity and thoughtfulness. By requesting that donations be made to HCFS in lieu of flowers, she ensured that her legacy would continue in a meaningful way - providing care, protection, and hope to animals who need it most.

We are profoundly grateful to Cheral and to her loved ones for this beautiful tribute. Because of Cheral’s light, compassion, and enduring legacy, animals will continue to be helped, protected, and given second chances for years to come.

Her love lives on through every life she continues to touch.

Donate: Find ways to donate on our Get Involved page. Reach out to us at info@hcfriendsoftheshelter.org if you would prefer to write a check or perform a bank transfer.
Specify the Gift: In the "Notes" or "Dedication" field, please clearly indicate: "In Memory of [Full Name of Person/Pet]" or "In Honor of [Full Name of Person/Pet]".
Acknowledgement: To make a gift in memory or honor of a loved one, please include their name and the family you would like notified. We ensure families receive acknowledgment of your thoughtful tribute.
Receipt: We are happy to write a receipt of the donation.
