Each household may receive food once per month for 3 consecutive months.
After the 3 months, you must wait 4 months before reapplying.
A household may receive pantry assistance a maximum of 3 times total.
Eligibility Requirements
Must reside in Hendricks County, Indiana (proof of residency required).
Pets MUST be spayed/neutered and have current vaccinations to continue receiving assistance.
Proof is required before reapplying.
Recipients are responsible for ensuring their pets are fixed before returning for food.
Pets added to the household during an active program period are not eligible and may affect future eligibility.
Allotment Guidelines
The quantity provided is based on the food available, as all food is donated.
Cats: 7 pounds
Small Dogs (1-30 pounds): 10 pounds
Medium Dogs (31-60 pounds): 20 pounds
Large Dogs (61+ pounds): 30 pounds
Food distribution is by appointment or scheduled pantry days only.
Missed pickups without prior notice may result in loss of assistance. All food is donated. Brand, types, and quantities will vary.

Important: Supplies are stored off-site of the HCAS, so scheduling in advance is important to ensure your order.
To apply for the HCFS Pet Food Pantry, you have two options for completing and submitting your application.
